I have the support of my family,

and I want to support

working families.

My family is never boring and very important to me!  My family is my foundation and working families are the focus of my campaign.

My Daughter Transformed My Life

I knew if I wanted to raise my daughter in NC, I would need to transform the world around her.  I would have to open doors and create opportunities for her, women and working families.

I began dealing with policy and families during a weatherization initiative. Thanks to former President Barack Obama's stimulus package, I was given an opportunity to help thousands of working families in Northeastern NC receive weatherization improvements and upgrades for their energy-burdened homes.

My responsibilities included navigating federal and state regulations and provide solutions for the weatherization training & certification for people whom lived in low income communities. Here, I brought durable solutions for the trainees who experienced conflicts between social services benefits & the weatherization program.

In some of the poorest counties, I worked with local government to identify seniors, persons with disabilities, and families with children in need of weatherization services. These solutions led to a workforce who acquired a sustainable and
sought-after skill which consistently
provided for their families.

I am the owner of NC Living Realty and a member in good standing with the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS, North Carolina Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. My real estate business caters to a diverse clientele, but I have a soft spot for veterans.

The men and women of the Armed Forces & their families deserve the most support the US can offer and my business aims to do its part in those efforts.

As a means to honor my family's military legacy, I am a contributor to veteran causes. For every VA buyer/seller, I donate a portion of my sales to a local veteran organization. I believe these contributions make change toward the economic, educational and social obstacles many veterans and
their families experience.

Political Vision

My desire for the North Carolina General Assembly is to help people. I want to ensure access, fairness and a commitment to shared quality of life issues on housing affordability, and legislative policy agenda around equity and equality for everyone in North Carolina.

If you would like to see this happen for NC,

Vote Q. Monique.
